Posted by Unknown in: Android featured
Most android device today come with more storage space than before, some even come with a slot for micro SD-card while some dont leaving many android users with less storage space to use.
Android users today make proper use of their devices therefor using up the space on their device and even their SD-card. if you are the kind that loves downloading and playing games, movies, app etc and your android storage is not enough for you then i think you will find this tutorial intrsting.
So now I'll be using this steps to show you how to connect a flash to your device
Step-1 you would need to chech if your phone supports OTG
Some of you might be wondering what OTG means well its a usb specification for USB-on-the-go, the most important part of this feature is that it allows your phone to act as the master or slave compared to wen you plug your phone to your computer through the usb making your device act the slave
To check if your device/phone is OTG compatible you would need to download this OTG checker
Note- your hardware may be compatible while your software will not in such case you might need to root your phone so as to get the necessary software but this should be done by an expert.
Step-2 once verified that your phone supports OTG the next step is getting the OTG cabble, dont know how much it cost for now but you can google and find out the price and how to get it.
Step-3 your usb flash drive, should be formarted with fat32 for best performance , i also advice getting a bigger frash drive maybe 32GB and above.
Step-4 mounting your flash drive, plug the flash into the OTG cable then the OTG cable into your device using the usb port on your device.
Note- ''a usb symbol will now appear on ur device''
Once the symbol appear you are good to go. to see the files on your device locate your file manager and view your file...
